CAAA monitors and responds to regulatory language and legislation that can impact the professional aerial application industry. Updates on these activities are published in our quarterly On the Deck and distributed through email and fax.

Continuing Education
Annually, CAAA hosts a variety of regional meetings to assist members in earning continuing education necessary for DPR license renewal. Agenda topics at these events focus on aerial application technology, aerial labels and county ag commissioner reports important to regional application issues.
Continuing Education Tracking
CAAA assists members by tracking their continuing education hours. Yearly, members receive a copy of their continuing education reports. Members can request a copy of their report at anytime throughout the year. Additionally, CAAA works with the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) to expedite testing and license renewals when needed.

Promoting Peer Engagement
CAAA encourages pilots and operators to share experiences to build each other’s knowledge base and increase aerial application professionalism. Opportunities for this engagement include District Meetings, Convention attendance and Members Blog.
Annual Convention
CAAA members participate in our annual convention at a reduced rate. Educational sessions cover a variety of topics including drift mitigation, spray system maintenance and the CAAA's PAASS (Professional Applicators Support System) program. Participating in PAASS can earn participants discounts on their insurance coverage.
